Anna Winkler, CYT, TYT

Anna has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 19 years. She is certified in both basic and advanced yoga teaching through the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers, where she was a volunteer staff member for 6 years.
Anna has been practicting Thai Yoga Therapy since 2001. She was certified with Saul David Raye in CA. She has also studied with Laura Rupp in Westfield, NJ and Rose Griscom in Southern NJ.
Anna is a certified Ayurvedic Consultant from the Kripalu School of Ayurveda's first graduating class of June, 2006.

Carol Flamm Reingold, CMT
Carol is a Registered Polarity Practitioner and a Licensed Massage Therapist in NY State. She has taken advanced training in Craniosacral Balancing with the Ultrasonic Care Group of New York City and with the Upledger Institute. Carol studied advanced anatomy, Swedish Massage and Shiatsu at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in New Jersey. She has been practicing since 2000 in NYC and NJ.
A long-time explorer of the body-mind connection through bodywork, music, and movement, Carol studied Sensory Awareness with Betty Keane in 1975. In addition, she studied Iyengar and Hatha yoga and completed extensive work with Alan Seale on chakra awareness and intuitive development.
Carol's focus in mind/bodywork healing is to integrate thoughts, emotional and spiritual feelings, and body sensation. Carol seeks to create the safety needed to deeply experience and express the stories of the heart, mind and body. Through the act of listening with heart and hands to anything from back pain to past emotional trauma, she facilitates healing and a freer expression of life.
Carol also performs as a singer and teaches voice and piano, helping her audiences and students tune into their own abilities to feel and express.

Debra Bernath,
NY LMT, NCTMB, ARCB
Debra is a WuMing QiGong practitioner and QiGong Meridian Therapist (QMT) who has been practicing since 1995.
She is continually expanding her knowledge of Qi/vital energy and its healing potential.
WuMing QiGong is focused on opening the heart and through an open heart we are able to connect to the loving energies of the Universe.
Debra is a Board Certified Reflexologist through the ARCB since 2005. She also teaches basic Reflexology at the Healing Hands Institute for Massage Therapy in Westwood, NJ.
Debra became Licensed in NY and Nationally Certified in Massage and Bodywork in 2007. Trained in the Traditional Western style of massage; Therapeutic, Swedish and deeper tissue work, as well as Eastern styles of Shiatsu and Thai Massage, Debra incorporates energy work in all of her massages.

Gena Rho-Smith, CYT, CTYBP
Gena Rho-Smith began practicing Yoga in 1998 after a professional career as a modern dancer, most notably as a member of the Trisha Brown Company where she performed and taught internationally. Gena has studied Alexander Technique and corrective approaches to dance throughout her career. She brings this knowledge of alignment and body mechanics to the practice of Yoga and Thai Yoga Bodywork. She is a certified Thai Yoga Bodywork Practioner with Jonas Westring.

Jason Neff, MSTOM, CA
Jason is a Licensed Acupuncturist who has been in involved with oriental traditions since 1990.
Jason graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City where he studied acupuncture, chinese herbology, tuina (a form of asian body work) and chinese dietary therapy. He also holds a B.S in design from Hofstra University in Long Island. He is a Nationally certified Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. He is a certified Qigong Meridian Therapist.
Traditionaly the role of the traditional Chinese medicine practicioner was to not only treat disease but also prevent disease from occurring. Jason carries on this tradition by treating both the root and the branch, thus preventing future diseases from occuring. True healing is a journey that occurs when a person learns to utilize their own innate healing ability. Jason considers all illnesses as an opurtunity for change, and personal growth .The role of a TCM practioner is to empower a person on their unique journey by giving them the tools needed in self-healing. Acupuncture and herbs are tools that can reawaken the bodies innate healing mechanism. Lynda J. Rountree (Fox) LMT, CA
Lynda has been working with essential oils and massaging since 1996. She is licensed by the State of New Mexico and Nationally Certified in massage. Lynda received a certification for Aromatherapy from the Healing Garden in California. She was certified in Pre/Post Natal Massage from the Institute for Therapuetic Massage.

Martha Peterson, CHSE, CMT

Martha is a Certified Massage Therapist with over 16 years of experience. She graduated from the National Holistic Institute in Oakland, CA in 1987, receiving her certification as a Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Educator.
Martha is also the tri-state area’s first Certified Hanna Somatic Educator, having finished a three year training at the Somatic Systems Institute in Northampton, MA. She gives private sessions and holds group Somatic exercise classes in her office at Shakti Yoga and Living Arts. She helps her clients learn to eliminate patterns of chronic pain and muscular dysfunction, such as scoliosis, TMJ, back, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica and fibromyalgia. Hanna Somatics is appropriate and safe for people of all ages, including pregnant women and those recovering from traumas, surgeries, and injuries.
In her Therapeutic Massage practice, Martha combines an eclectic mix of modalities
(Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy)
into each session, focusing on the individual needs of the client. In addition, Martha is a traditional Reiki Master, using Reiki in every session to balance energy where needed.
As a former professional dancer and dance educator, Martha's knowledge of the body, posture and body mechanics enhances her work
as a teacher of Hanna Somatics. Martha works to facilitate this by teaching her clients to develop a more accurate sense of their own bodies and by helping them to recondition their muscle control. She believes that healthy body mechanics and awareness of one's movement is key to maintaining flexibility and freedom from pain.
